Central base
This is a common Central base, used by all factions. Heavily armed and capable of building fighters and Atlas vessels. They also function as staging grounds for battle group and carrier group operations. They have dry docks to repair and re-crew damaged ships
Science Station
The Research facility is where you conduct research on new technology and blue prints. Build-able to all factions.
Basic Shipyard
The basic yard builds class's of vessels from Artemis fighters to all design Athena's.
Lightly shielded and no arms this station must rely of a home guard for defense. Capable of building, repairing and re-crewing ships. This station is also mobile and capable of redeploying as needed due to the fact that it also processed mined resources.

Heavy Shipyard
The Heavy yards build everything from Athena to Tartarus class Dreadnaughts. These stations are also capable of all the other functions of the basic yard including resource processing. But these stations have medium shields and light weapons for defense.
Super Central Base
This class of starbase is considered a "Super base" due to its size, defensive and offensive systems and building abilities. This base is capable of building class's from fighters to Poseidon Cruisers. Repair and re-crew damaged ships. Construction of Atlas vessels And can store a standard Home Guard battle group inside.

Tartarus Class Dreadnaught (base mode)
The base mode of the Tartarus Class Dreadnaught. The Offensive and Defensive weapons remain the same but defensive systems get a power bonus in this mode. It is also capable of producing fighters and atlas as well as Repair and re-crew damaged ships. In this mode it will allow your fleets to lay siege to a solar system outside of your supply range.
Defense Platform
The Universal Defense Platform. This is an orbital and a free space Defense platform once built the platform can then be equipped with anything from Missile batteries to Plasma Cannons as long as you have researched the correct blue prints and your science station.
The Platform is capable of 360 degree range on all axis and axis angles for attack postures.

Warp Gate
The Warp gate is an advanced FTL system that vessels use to go from point A to point B instantly. These are big and expensive structures, equipped with heavy shielding, medium defenses. They will require a Home Guard for defense. Due to the cost and nature of these structures you may only have one per sector.
Primary Command Base
The Primary Command base is your factions headquarters. You may only have one at any one time. This base builds Fighters, Atlas, Zues and Hephs. This base has Ultra Heavy Shields and advanced defensive/offensive systems. It is rare for these bases to be successfully assaulted by enemy fleets but not impossible.
